I was absolutely delighted with the portrait of my daughter Charlotte
by Hilary James. My partner commissioned the portrait as a surprise
birthday present and I could not think of anything which would have
pleased me more. Hilary worked from a photograph of Charlotte but
has also met her and I think she was not only able to capture her
face perfectly but also something of her personality in this beautiful
pencil drawing. The detail and skill in execution is extraordinary.
It is definitely the best present I have ever received and I will
always treasure it
