PORTRAITSThe selection of work below shows the style and medium Hilary uses for her portraits. Select the silver 'details' button to view magnified sections of the artwork. Commissions are always welcome, so if you would like to commission a portrait in her style, please feel free to contact her, without obligation, to discuss your requirements. Please see her current portrait commission guidance for more details. All the artworks below are for sale as giclee prints (permission having been granted by the sitters). A giclee (jhee-clay) print is a French word meaning the spraying of ink. It is a term used to refer to a unique printing technology. A giclee print is the closest mechanical duplication of an original artwork that is currently possible. The inks are water based, offer a high UV resistance, and under museum archival conditions are light-fast up to 70 years. (Back to Top of Page) |
